Terms of service

1. Purpose and scope

These terms apply to any quote request, order or service entrusted to MC Maître Couvreur, including roofing, zincwork, waterproofing, maintenance and facade renovation.

Any approved quote constitutes full acceptance of these terms, together with any specific provisions stated on the signed quote.

2. Quotes, orders and appointments

Quotes are provided free of charge based on the information supplied by the client and, where necessary, a site visit. They specify the nature of the work, intended materials, indicative timelines and estimated amount.

The order becomes binding once the quote is accepted in writing.

• The client must provide safe access to the site.
• Any change during the project will require an amendment or supplementary quote.

3. Prices, VAT and payment

Prices are shown in euros. VAT is applied at the rate in force on the invoice date (20% unless otherwise stated).

Unless otherwise specified, a deposit may be requested upon order. The balance is due upon completion, subject to compliant delivery.

4. Execution timelines

Stated timelines are indicative and may be adjusted due to weather, material availability or technical constraints discovered on site.

MC Maître Couvreur informs the client of any significant delay.

5. Client obligations

The client guarantees the accuracy of the information provided, grants necessary access to the site and ensures the safety of people and property on site.

• Report any specific constraints (condominium rules, easements, networks, asbestos, etc.).
• Obtain any required authorisations before work begins.
• Provide access to water and electricity where needed.

6. Warranties and acceptance

Services are performed in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulations. Legal and contractual warranties apply as provided by law.

Acceptance of the work confirms compliance. Any reservation must be clearly stated and justified.

7. Liability and insurance

MC Maître Couvreur performs its services with due professional care. Liability is limited to proven direct damage within the limits set by law.

The client remains responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution.

Failing agreement, the courts of the company's registered office shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
